Rain, and Wildflowers, and Downhilling OH MY!

30 Jun
OK, so some people may think that this was a total cheat. I consider it my interval day…and boy! Was it fun!

USA Cycling needs to remember why people race and ride…because it’s fun! NOT because it’s a spectator sport. If it were, it would be called Arena Cross.

Anyway, I digress…highly recommend detouring to Big Billie’s in the next few days. The Lupine are gone, but the Monk’s Hoods, Paint Brushes, Daisy’s, Primroses and Cornflowers are going OFF! Smells totally amazing. Behind the TelSki Shop on the 360/Village Trail was pretty decent too. I’m sure it will just get better over the course of the next few days.

And yes, I did stop to smell the flowers along various spots along the way.

Now, if only my husband will let me buy a downhill bike – or at least SOMETHING with more than 1-1/8″ in the rear. So much like a powder day…

Happy, happy, joy, joy!
